Quincy Police report today on an encounter with a Masshole:
The delivery truck was blocking the travel lane, so you thought it would be ok to go up on the sidewalk to get around?? The driver’s response: You’re making a bigger deal out of this than necessary

What is it with twerps on the sidewalk?
Some asshole in city car 929 was laying on the horn and pushing into a big crowd of peds where City Hall Plaza meets court street like he had some sort of right of way on the sidewalk or something this morning. Yeah, he had to get up there to the charging stations but you don't menace a large group of peds with your city vehicle to accomplish that, bub.
Entitlement reeking like the skunkiest pot. Having a motor vehicle doesn't give you special rights over other modes ON THE FREAKING SIDEWALK.
Sidewalk driving = reckless driving. Should mean at least some retraining challenge at the RMV.
Just 311 it. Nobody should
Just 311 it. Nobody should feel unsafe on the sidewalk.
ur gonna love them scooters
ur gonna love them scooters
They will fit in well with the bicycles and skateboards and occasional pedicabs that are already on the sidewalks
I saw an asshole driver lay
I saw an asshole driver lay down on her horn for multiple seconds yesterday. Who was she honking at? A school bus! These criminal drivers think they are entitled to do whatever they want. I flipped her off from the sidewalk. Hopefully she doesn't run over a kid getting off a school bus.
What a tough guy
Flipping off a woman. Your dad must be proud.
Criminal drivers
I would wager that "laying on the horn" is a civil offense.
Typically, yes...
But Kinopio thinks anyone who even thinks about buying a car is a criminal.
Seriously...please shut up.
You're hyperbole is just to tired and bored. No one (literally no one) wants to hear it. Do you bore your friends with your irrational rants about people who you think are criminals for people annoying ass hats, or is UHub your outlet.
Who put the charging stations
Who put the charging stations on the sidewalk?
This Is Boston
And we don't have to change for anyone. Wear an extra helmet, punk!
Actually, no: it was Quincy.
Actually, no: it was Quincy.
So much to take in here
* The, who, me? look on that stupid clown's face
* The Quincy PD tweeting out his license plate in violation of multiple MA State privacy laws
* The Handicap placard hanging from his rear view in the front-on pic. Not saying that you can't have one if you're handicapped, but if ever there was the face of a person who "forgot" to give it back after he sprained his knee, its this dum dum
* The bowl cut and backwards hat combo. *chef's kiss*
* And of course the traffic blocking truck that was the cause of so much consternation and gnashing of teeth that Mr. Bowl Cut just _had_ to drive around. And of course he couldn't make it and apparently reverse is broken on his car, so... here we are.
10/10 massholes. Would FAKYOO again.
OTish: What license plate privacy laws?
I was unaware that there were laws prohibiting MA law enforcement from publishing offender's license plate #s. Could you provide a link-ref please?
It's moot now
The plates are all blanked out in the photos now online.

unless I missed it...
....there does not appear to be anything specific to automobile license plates.
Plates are public.
You have no expectation of privacy regarding your vehicle on a public way.
Huh?
"The Quincy PD tweeting out his license plate in violation of multiple MA State privacy laws"
Why should anyone have an expectation of privacy if they drive around in a car with a number on it that anyone can read, write down, and broadcast to the world? The license plate on a car is supposed to be visible to the public.
Just ask the driver to pull
Just ask the driver to pull up, he couldn't have been that far away .
"You’re making a bigger deal out of this than necessary"
Gee feel like I've encountered this attitude countless effing times after yelling at a motorist that almost killed me.
But watch that attitude do a 180 if you touch their car.
Were you both running the
Were you both running the same red light or something?
Why would I yell at them if I put myself in that position?
I'm willing to admit my faults and not try to throw blame at others.
When I almost get hit because you were texting and driving and veered into my path? Yeah different story oh and this happens when I'm walking too but go off
Go off? Huh?
Go off? Huh?
One person's reckless driver is ...
One person's reckless driver is another person's creative problem solver. :-)
Although they don't have to be rude about it...
I don’t see a problem here
