Police say man was angry a bus didn't stop for him, so naturally he threw a brick at it

Transit Police report arresting Richard Bridgeman, 53, on a charge of malicious destruction of property on account of how they say he hurled a brick at a T bus on Mass. Ave. near Shawumut Avenue around 10:30 a.m. yesterday, shattering the windshield.
Police say that when officers asked him why he threw a brick at the bus, he did not reply that his name was Ignatz. Instead, police say, he said he was angry that the bus driver didn't stop for him. Police did not say whether Bridgeman was already carrying the brick or whether he picked it up from one of the brick sidewalks along that stretch of Mass. Ave.

Usually the T just makes me crap

So how did a brick hit the front of the bus if he was made that it didn't stop for him?

Just a guess: Traffic on Mass. Ave. was pretty darn slow at 10:30 a.m. yesterday because of the Marathon, and so he was able to catch up with it.

I've thrown my T-pass at a bus that blew me off, but that's as bad-ass as I've been.

I've been exactly there, at the Washington St. stop for the #1 bus heading north, and have had them blow right past. And when it's made me late for work because the next isn't going to arrive for another half-hour due to the MBTA's badly managed headways, I've certainly looked down at the loose bricks from the sidewalk and considered heaving one.
Now what happens?
Malicious Destruction of Property is one of the infamous 15 criminal offenses that the office of district attorney will not prosecute.

He's not Ignatz, but if he was he would definitely have his own brick, a lovingly curated one. But though he's not Ignatz, the bus is definitely Krazy - I'm assuming that this is a #1 bus we're talking about - so it will probably forgive him.
It could be a CT1.
Does that one stop at Shawmut? I know it goes by that corner.
If I were the judge...
This is a case where the defendant's demeanor would make all the difference to me if I was the judge or jury. If the guy was like, "I'M SO sorry. I just lost it. I was SO wrong. I'll pay for the damage" I'd let him off (after he paid to fix the bus.) If he was belligerent or didn't give a crap, he'd be doing time.
Uncivilized behavior
53 years old and throwing bricks. So much for civilized culture. We are all frustrated by the T, but people shouldn't be throwing bricks. Period.

I genuinely can't believe how many people here are condoning this behavior.
I don't think they are condoning it.
But they are understanding how someone could get frustrated enough to even think of throwing a brick at a bus.
