Maybe they toss leftover bagels next to the dumpsters out back. I imagine the turkeys are fully capable of running off the rats, pigeons and even seagulls that might be attracted to that sort of thing...

I bet this is a seagull posting as a representative of the noble turkey the whole time. Turkeys don't care about dumpster bagels but seagulls certainly do.
