We heard this while leaving Roches. We went back and forth between fireworks and thunder (since a front is going to be moving through overnight.)

and wondered why there were fireworks in late September. It's not the traditional way to usher in Rosh Hashana - they don't sound at all like shofars.

So whose wedding was it at the Dedham Polo Club? The fireworks were so loud we in Hyde Park could hear them all the way to the Mattapan line and beyond. It sounded like a war.

Mattapan. I swore it was thunder with all those thick clouds passing by overhead that night. It was at night wasn't it?

At least it was only in the early late evening, unlike the midnight fireworks the DNC shook peoples' houses with in '04 when they were trying to foist President Lurch on us.
