State Police report that a car chase involving a suspected fentanyl dealer started on Rte. 9 in Brookline and ended in a garage at 375 Longwood Ave. near the Riverway around 7:30 p.m. after the suspect drove in, then tried to run away from both state troopers and BPD officers.
MSP Troopers and Boston Police Officers located the male suspect in the garage. The suspect fought violently in an attempt to avoid capture but was subdued and taken into custody and has been transported to State Police-South Boston for booking.
The suspect is being charged with fentanyl trafficking, assault and battery on a police officer, and motor vehicle offenses.

Great job nabbing this violent creep!
This wasn't a Beth Israel
This wasn't a Beth Israel Garage. It was the MASCO garage at 375 Longwood.
Nurses at BI park in that
Nurses at BI park in that garage.
BI is in New York City
Beth Israel Deaconess is located in Boston.
?
Thanks for that. I am telling you from first hand information that nurses at the Beth Israel Deaconess hospital in Boston, MA are given access to parking at the garage in question.
My friend is a nurse at that hospital and her car was in there at the time of the incident.
?
The original report stated that the incident "ended in the Beth Israel Deaconess garage on Longwood Avenue". There's no doubt that support staff from BIDMC use the MASCO garage but so do Red Sox fan on game days - so does the Temple Israel. Does this mean that it would be accurate to report that the incident ended in a Red Sox garage on Longwood Avenue? LOL
i guess
it would be just as accurate as calling the CVS/Guitar Center parking lot off of Ipswich a Fenway Park parking lot.
