I only include it with named suspects.

why the person isn't named? Everyone else who is arrested is named, unless a juvenile. The report says, "Man" so I assume this miscreant is over 18.

I want to know who it is. You can't be a Nazi on the weekend.

If you take a look at arrest reports on the linked Brookline Police News, you will find fairly quickly that they do NOT name anyone who is arrested.

For what?
He admitted to it.

Note the part of the police report that states, "[t]he suspect was stopped inside Emerson Park where he admitted to placing stickers on a Town parking sign and trash can."

I can't imagine what their US ancestors must think.

I'm disappointed that we haven't gotten the usual load of "How do you know he's a Nazi? What's wrong with patriotism?" yet.

If he weighs the same as a duck, then he's made of wood, and therefore . . . a nazi!

It's still early. The usual suspects may "weigh in" later.

I'm playing devil's advocate here, but would this person have been arrested if the stickers had been for a local band or other such thing that we frequently see stickers plastered all over the place for? One seldom hears of somebody getting arrested for that, even though it is technically illegal.

Had he been stupid enough to do it in broad daylight with a witness to report him while he was committing the act.

Patrirot Front stickers in a substantially Jewish community are harassment.

Perhaps his name isn't being mentioned because he doesn't fit the narrative. Just like the "racist" graffiti at the Tynan School (done by a black school employee) and the swastika and other destruction at the Morrissey Boulevard Vietnam Veterans Memorial for which an arrest was made but the State Police (not a judge) decided the man (already wanted on a different felony) should go to a mental health facility and have his/her name concealed. Don't forget the no watermelon no water bottle comment at the MFA. It's always best to keep an open mind on these things. IIRC when this "defacing property" law was passed, it made placing a sticker on any public property a felony, may result in license suspension or a one year delay in obtaining a driver's license and the stickers can be removed by any citizen.

we’re not swayed by the odd contrary anecdote in the face of a surge in anti-Semitic hate crimes and rhetoric online and in public since the election of President Nazi-Coddler. [Makes “okay” sign over one eye.]

You are much more predictable than the MBTA.

in my life, but the success of Alex Jones and his ilk makes me wonder about their adherents. Dumber than dirt? Dying to seem cool/smart by their possession of “hidden knowledge”, like some pathetic teen emo hipster?

In the case of right-wing hate, the answer seems clearer: “Don’t believe the evidence of your lying eyes and basic critical thinking skills.” Dipshit, please: who the hell do you think you’re fooling? In the words (and enunciation) of Logan Roy, “Fuck off.”
