One thing I miss about working downtown

is routinely encountering professional Colonial cosplayers. It’s easy to forget that this little burg was pivotal in the birth of the nation; events like these are a useful reminder. We’re way more than Marky Mark and clam chowder and obnoxiously successful sports franchises.
I haven’t climbed the Bunker Hill monument or toured the USS Constitution in decades: I gotta do those again. Having temporarily lived in bigger, younger, less historical American cities, I guess I really am a proud provincial. “I got an icy snowball for you right heah, you red-coated fuck.”

For your defense of the British soldiers who were put on trial after this tragic event. Your willingness to defend the accused against the angry mobs in what could be considered the first case of excessive force by the police was heroic.
You showed the world that in Boston justice rules not angry mobs.
