Man had a ride share waiting while he robbed three at gunpoint in Dorchester, police say
Boston Police report arresting a Dorchester man on armed-robbery charges after a stickup on Frontenac Street, a block away from the B3 police station late yesterday afternoon.
Police say that after Reneil Miller, 20, robbed three people shortly before 6 p.m., he walked a couple blocks over to Theodore Street, where he hopped into a waiting ride-share vehicle.
Officers followed the vehicle and performed a traffic stop in the area of 875 Morton Street [near the Economy Heating facility] at which time they removed the suspect. Officers soon recovered personal property belonging to the victims but were unable to locate a firearm.
Miller was charged with armed robbery as well as an unspecified probation violation.
