Another person shot on Walden Street in Jamaica Plain

Update: Victim is 16.

Live Boston reports somebody was shot around 7:35 p.m. on Walden Street, across from the Stop & Shop parking lot.

On Thursday, a man was shot repeatedly on Walden Street in the Mildred Hailey Apartments.

When I tell people I live in Jamaica Plain they ask me if it’s dangerous because they hear about shootings there on the news. I tell them it’s about as safe as can be as long as you don’t live at the Mildred Hailey apartments. Sad but true.

Bromley-Heath should be razed and redeveloped to mixed income housing à la the successful Columbia Point project.

Aren't some of the current Harbor Point buildings the old Columbia Point buildings, gutted and rebuilt from the inside?
