Fenway fire injures resident, displaces more than 50

The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to 1191 Boylston St., across from the Victory Gardens, around 1:05 a.m. for a fire that they contained to just one apartment but which injured its occupant and forced more than 50 other residents into the street.

The cause of the fire, which did an estimated $1 million in damage, is under investigation, the department says.
