Was the first case of Police Brutality in America. I believe the British Soldiers were found innocent although a couple of them were branded with hot irons.

...but, according to the article, news of the massacre reached London on April 22nd. What happened 250 years ago today was the news being reported in Boston about what happened when London heard of the news (about 8 weeks earlier).
Hope that clears up this important point.
