Man shot on Waumbeck Street in Roxbury; three arrested

WBZ reports a man was shot around 1:30 a.m. on Waumbeck Street at Crawford Street. A BPD officer on patrol saw three men jump into a car - which he followed to Codman Park, where they got out and ran. He shot at them, but did not hit them, WBZ reports, adding the victim was taken away in critical condition.

Who was doing in the shooting in the "shooting at them?" The BPD officer? That's how it reads to me with the number agreement...

He shot at them? There should be more to the story. Was his life threatened? Sounds like he shot at them while they’re running away. Thank God is always an investigation after a officer fires his weapon, (hopefully).
