The Chelsea Record reports State and Everett Police busted up quite the shindig at the casino hotel early on Aug. 16 - some 110 people crowded into a suite with an occupancy limit of 10 and featuring a DJ and "adult dancers." The guy who rented the suite faces charges. The casino was also cited and vows it's now doing what it should have been doing to prevent such potential superspreaders.

If and when we ever achieve the impossible in this country and build a robust social net in the form of universal healthcare for all, one would hope that eye exams and corrective eyewear would be made available to one and all at no or very low cost because if the employees at Encore did not notice 110 people and entertainers walking into the hotel and crowding a room meant for 10 then vision impairment is more of a problem in this great nation than one we could have ever anticipated.
So srippers are no longer a thing in Greater Bosto

If you're partying with 110 people in a hotel room meant for 10, don't share videos on social media
I will never ever ever

I will never ever ever understand why people do these things. Bad enough you are doing something everybody knows is wrong but then you are going to blast it up online for the world to see?

Sometimes social media just dims some people's judgement.
On a related note, I know hotels aren't busy but if I was staying in a hotel, and on that floor (or even below or above). I'd notice if there was a party with 110 people, strippers, and a DJ, and I'd call the front desk a shit ton if I was trying to sleep.
My point is.. you know someone else called the desk. I'd be surprised if no one else did, but regardless, the hotel management did zippo.
Well...

Encore is instituting a $3,000 penalty for violating occupancy limits. But when the two bedroom residence suite (that's what gets you the 3,000 sq. ft. in the article) goes for $4,000/night, an additional $3,000 may just be a cost of doing business. Same for the $500 fine for violating Covid restrictions -- peanuts on top of the other expenses incurred.
The bigger issue IMO is that an employee apparently notified management that the party was going on with 30+ in the room but nothing was done by hotel management until State Police showed up after 3 AM.
Good news for that employee

I hope they are talking about the virus and not the "adult dancers" when using the term "superspreaders".

Your Honor, my client is a victim of circumstance. Along with a few friends, he played some religious music and invited a family friend to share her many years of competitive dance at a birthday party. Yes it was in Everett, at the casino. But a Casino is Gods house as much as any other building. A place of many dwellings, as God is celebrated in many places. My client is working on his GED and plans to enroll pre law classes when the pandemic eases and his busy schedule allows.
But is he

I read on their site that at Wynn Encore you can drink at the slots and other gambling tables that are open and don't have to be seated at a restaurant eating a meal like everywhere else. Why is Trumps pals casino exempt from covid restrictions independent bars and restaurants have to follow. That's in addition to being able to serve drinks till 4am?
Hahahahaha
