Walsh: What happened to Black jogger in West Roxbury 'disturbing' and 'unacceptable'

At a press conference mainly about Covid-19 this morning, Mayor Walsh blasted both the three chest fanny-pack wearers who tried to interrogate a Black jogger on VFW Parkway in West Roxbury yesterday and ICE's refusal to confirm or deny if they were ICE agents.
This was an extremely disturbing video to watch. It was unacceptable in so many ways: violating someone’s rights just because of the color of their skin, is always unacceptable. Also unacceptable is the fact that ICE hasn’t confirmed or denied that these were their agents.
Walsh said he has spoken to the jogger, and said the man was quite shook up by the incident. Boston Police, he said, is trying to get information from its federal contacts who the three men might have been. The jogger said the men showed him badges reading "ICE" when he pressed them for information.

Walsh should move ahead
Put out arrest warrants for these guys. They can prove whether they are agents or not after being taken into custody.
There's no reason to trust Walsh on any of this
Remember last fall when it was revealed BPD was working all along with ICE, in violation of the Boston "Trust Act"
Remember in the winter when it was revealed that the Boston School Department was working all along with ICE?
They "updated" the Trust Act this winter because Walsh was "concerned" but I don't believe that Walsh is honest with us, or perhaps he is incapable of controlling his own government.
ICE behaves like the Gestapo and regularly goes far beyond investigation and apprehension of violent criminals.
If and when Donald Mussolini is replaced, we need to abolish ICE and totally re-think immigration laws and enforcement.

their social-media hashtag being co-opted by gay men that they changed their name to the Leather Men? (I suspect that rumor is bogus or Onion-style satire, but it would be a hilarious irony if true.)
Trump will lose, and the assorted white nationalists and neo-Nazis can have their little rebellion -- I expect their gun fetish will result in them murdering some of their fellow citizens -- but it won't last in the face of overwhelming repudiation of their hateful ideology by tens of millions of Americans.

This is conspiracy-level thinking. First of all the "Proud Boys" and "Three Percenter" total memberships aren't more than a few thousand people. ICE is part of the executive branch, which would be overseen by a President Biden in your scenario. If you seriously think that ICE will lead a civil insurrection if Trump loses you are out of your mind as is everyone who liked this inane comment.

Several Police departments have officers assigned to ICE including BPD, MSP and MBTA.
