Rob C reports the driver of this big rig realized in time what he was about to do and so saved his job and the time all the motorists around him would have lost and stopped before taking that dip onto Storrow Drive. "It was super awkward," at least, he adds.

Honestly, with the recent news about a truck (or two?) getting stuck at Smuggler's Notch in VT, looking at this picture makes me wonder - you're driving a giant rig in Boston, super-alert for our nice and courteous drivers, overloaded with information from all 4 of those signs... I don't blame you for barely noticing the secondary, white "no trucks" sign. Sometimes it's above the highway. Sometimes it's to the side. Sometimes it's text, sometimes it's a crossed-out truck...

The problem is that the
The problem is that the advance signage says nothing about a truck restriction. It just says “Storrow Drive exit right”. The only sign mentioning “no trucks” or a height restriction is the one in the photo, right at the split itself.

You’d think where an interstate highway exits to a low clearance parkway that they would make an extra effort to provide notice of the truck restriction.
