They've really lowered the speed limit on the Jamaicaway

A very low speed-limit sign on the Jamaicaway

Any lower and they'll have to dig a trench.

Can they really walk that fast?

It's so those Lamborghini drivers won't have to crane their necks looking up at the sign. Surely, they will now obey the speed limit.

Note to self: Go to toystore, buy 18" tall police car or motorcycle cop to put on speedtrap duty behind that sign.

On the few occasions when I have driven on that road, 25 felt more like the minimum speed not to get rear-ended. So having the sign on the floor may actually be appropriate. Not that I approve of this interpretation; I am that rare driver who doesn't like to get more than 5 to 10% over the speed limit and get tailgated pretty much wherever I drive as a result.

Reducing the speed limit to 25 miles per hour on the Jamaicaway is an excellent idea! People drive way too fast on that road, anyhow.

It always has been 25 on at least half of it, the other part 30.

But no one listens
