Boston Police report Boston and State gang-unit officers who stopped an Acton man they say sped down one street, didn't stop for either a red light or a stop sign and just generally drove like a Masshole arrested him after finding a loaded gun under his seat early Saturday.
Police say that when officers stopped Christian Lopez, 24, for the alleged traffic violations on Dorr Street shortly before 2 a.m., he quickly made them suspicious:
Officers observed Lopez grab a dark object from his lap and place it under the driver’s seat. Lopez abruptly exited the vehicle and attempted to walk away.
Officers secured Mr. Lopez and recovered a loaded Ruger SR40 .40 caliber handgun with one round in the chamber and seven rounds in the magazine from under the seat.
Also, his license had previously been revoked, police say.
He was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm with an altered serial number and operating after revocation, police say.
Innocent, etc.

I was sound asleep at 2:30 am. Thank you for being awake, working, and taking this menace off the street.
Cops have taken a lot of grief lately. Some surely deserved. Much not. Regardless, this story has a happy ending so far.
can you hear my eyes rolling from there?

Apparently for the cops to enforce any traffic laws around here they need to see someone committing 5 different violations back-to-back.
Remember the Breaking Bad episode
