Chang-Diaz announces run for governor

Sonia Chang-Díaz Launches Her Campaign For Governor of Massachusetts

State Sen. Sonia Chang-Diaz announced this morning she's running for governor in next year's elections.

The Jamaica Plain Democrat has been in the state Senate since 2009, representing Jamaica Plain and parts of Roslindale, Roxbury, the South End, Hyde Park, Dorchester, Mattapan, the Fenway and the Back Bay.

Her announcement means her senate seat is up for grabs next year as well.

Former state senator Ben Downing and Harvard professor Danielle Allen are also running for the Democratic nomination for governor.

If she can get a variance for her house after the fact, just think what she can do for the people of Massachusetts. Hard pass.

White Male: Excuse virtually ANYTHING he does wrong. And I mean ANYTHING. Downplay Deny Delete Defer.

Non-White Male: Blow Up the SMALLEST of small infractions (could just be speculative and not even illegal/infraction) be sure to bring it up 20,30, 40, yeasr later. Rally the other white people around you.

Perhaps some look at valid criticism of nonwhite candidates as a sign of racism.

Also, Sonia Chang-Diaz is not a male.

When the story is Marty Walsh, I'll bring up his thuggish behavior around Top Chef, the Boston Olympics, dynamiting the Long Island bridge, Boston Calling, and ratfucking cannabis.

When the story is Charlie Baker, I'll bring up his decimation of Harvard Pilgrim and fecklessness.

When the story is Tito Jackson, I'll bring up assaulting a journalist.

When the story is Nika Elugardo, I'll bring up that she's a fabulous representative who cares about her constituents.

Today the story is Sonia Chang-Diaz, so go eat shit.

We really need a viable candidate who can finally unseat trump-lite once and for all. I’m sick of his unwavering support for politicians who make no secret of supporting the orange turd.

A state senator from JP is going to win outside of the valley and inside 128?

No, she's definitely not. Anyone who thinks so is delusional

Who do you think has the most potential as a Dem candidate? Genuinely curious.

but it strains credulity for her to campaign as a "Beacon Hill outsider."

Really? Baker?

I have no love for Baker but Trump Lite is a little much.

Ever hear of Ron DeSantis.. you know the Governor of Florida who *IS* Trump Jr.

Wake me up when Baker tries to pass laws asking students to 'register their party and political opinions' or passes anti-gay legislation on the first day of gay pride. How about when Baker decides to do pay for play covid-19 rollout. OR bans cruise ships who force employees to be vaccinated.

And let's not forget about how Florida has some of the worst covid death rates in our country.

But please go on and tell us how Baker is "Trump Lite"

Hell, I think Chris Sununu is more of a Trump boot licker than Charlie is.

Campaigned for that repulsive orange turd apologizer senator Susan Collins, a vocal turd supporter, who rubber stamps most of what the turd has said and done. The same as if you voted for the turd, if you support those who support the turd, YOU support the turd. When all is said and done, Bakkker is another self serving tow the line republican.
