Two hundred kids were sick yesterday, 260 today--ten percent of the school. This isn't senior skip day--it's a nasty, very contagious little virus that thankfully seemss to be pretty mild, at least on this round. My kid's been sick since Saturday and is bummed to miss sports practice all week and a big sporting event next weekend. School, not so much, but to blow this off as some fake-o student prank is really obtuse.
Well, has it? Has this happened before..?-BLS is a bunch of young person's in a close enviroment, though. It makes sense it'd be hit there before, say, the Conley.
About the vampires-I'm not sure, but vampires can't die, so no worries about Boston's vampire population decreasing ;-).

Anyone in City Hall ever heard of 'senior skip day'? Happens every year right about...now.

Given that the city is also closing a nearby private school.

I thought Senior Skip Day was earlier than this - don't the seniors get out for good around May 15?
Not at BLS...early June.

Latin Academy, O'Bryant, Fenway...who knows?
Of course, I bet other places already have closed-except they're so unimportant it wasn't reported.
