At 10 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a a flash-flood warning for much of the area through 6 a.m. on Thursday:
Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

Can't stress enough how important it is too wear good protective footwear while walking through the city. Dog poop, human poop, urine, and other biohazards swimming in the streams! Then again, germs are good for the immune system.
