Police: Man opens fire on group in Nubian Square, misses everybody, is arrested

Boston Police report arresting a West Roxbury man on charges he walked towards a group of men standing outside 2241 Washington St. in Nubian Square, took out a gun and began firing.

Police report he failed to hit anybody and that officers alerted to the gunfire by the BPD ShotSpotter system arrived quickly enough to see him running towards Ruggles Street, tossing something as he ran.

Malek Salameh, 32, of West Roxbury, was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm, police say, adding officers also recovered the gun he allegedly used.

With that name, I don't think he is a Westie White even if he wants to be. I also hope he didn't think this was the initiation to become one.
