15-year-old charged with shooting at Ruggles T station last month

A teen faces attempted-murder and gun charges after he allegedly shot somebody in the lower busway at Ruggles on April 18, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

At his arraignment in juvenile court today, Judge Peter Coyne ordered him held without bail at least pending a dangerousness hearing on May 11, the DA's office says.

Transit Police report they arrested the teen at his home today. Because of his age, his name was not released.

His victim survived.

This wasn’t committed by an 11-year-old and the shooter can face a consequence.

The city needs to keep transit safe for the people of Boston.
