Shortly before 6 p.m., a roving UHub correspondent reported spotting a chicken crossing Austin Street in Hyde Park.
The question, of course, is why?
An answer to the age-old question comes from Larry Johnson, who lives on Greenbrook Road, which runs off Austin:
She comes by to visit us quite often on Greenbrook Road. Why did the chicken cross the road? For her handout of course!
