I wish there was more places like S&S. If it wasn't so far out of my way or I'd go more often.
Good food, open late, affordable, and with a big menu. Basically, a diner.
Coming from New Jersey the relative lack of diners in Boston and the Boston area is one of the bigger culture shocks.
I think a better headline woulda been "Where people have been going to ess & ess for more than a century"
