My favorite ever church sign

My favorite ever church sign was one I saw a few years ago. This was on a visit to Virginia, in the hills some way outside Charlottesville, in the middle of a summer heat wave, and by "heat wave" I'm using their local standards. I don't think we have a word for it in Massachusetts.
The sign itself was on a small totally typical-looking Protestant church. White clapboard, black roof, a little steeple with a cross, and of course their sign, every church has to have one, I believe it's the law.
Theirs said, simply: "TOO HOT TO KEEP CHANGING SIGN. SIN BAD, JESUS GOOD, DETAILS INSIDE".
I don't live there and I'm not looking to join a church, but if I did and I was, I know the first one I'd try.
Calvin Coolidge and the preacher's sermon

This reminds me of an old story, probably apocryphal, about Calvin Coolidge. He came home from church one Sunday, and Mrs. Coolidge, having stayed home, asked him what had been the subject of the sermon.
"Sin."
"And what did the preacher have to say about sin?"
"He was agin' it."
My eyes were already open

I guess that sign didn't do much good...
