Dave Alpert introduces us to the guys selling "art" out of the back of "a newish Audi with Connecticut plates" (so don't confuse them with the dude out by JP Licks or the cheap-prints guy at Dartmouth Street):
... The scene was so AWESOME! Nothing makes street art seem more appealing than when it is sold out of the trunk of a 75 thousand dollar car. ...

That's a late-90's, very early 2000's A4 or maybe an A8 of similar vintage. The picture is so crappy and the car so obscured, it's hard to tell.
Either way, worth a few grand, tops.
Yep, thats an A4

Audis got the "single-frame" grilles around 2005. I think it's an older A8 or S8; I had a '96 A4 and a 2000 S4, and the shape of this car looks slightly off from what I remember of them.

I saw this guy the first week he came out to Newbury. He seemed like an alright guy when I talked to him. His pieces were interesting, unique and one of a kind, rather than most of the other bulk-printed crap you see tourists gathering around. His prices were reasonable as well. I saw the car and it had little to no effect on me. Do artists have to drive jalopies in order to be taken seriously?
Anyway, here's his MySpace site that was on his card. Maybe Mr. Alpert and Kevin can be friends.
