Boston Police report arresting a Dorchester man on charges he stabbed four men at Tremont and Stuart streets around 2:10 a.m. - leaving one with injuries so bad the homicide unit was called in just in case.
Officers located two adult male victims on scene, a third adult male victim self-applied to a local area hospital, and a fourth victim self-applied several hours following the incident. One of the male victims was found to have life-threatening injuries, the other three were found to have non-life-threatening injuries. All victims are expected to survive their injuries.
Police say officers found suspect Daryl Diamond, 39, of Dorchester, still at the scene, and arrested him on four counts of assault with intent to murder and four counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Boston Police typically have extra units assigned to the Theater District at closing time on weekends.
