Joseph F McGinnis, the so-called "brains" of Brinks Robbery, was owner of Imbescheid's package store (3077 Washington St) in the late '40s to mid '50s, and was taken into custody there in the FBI round-up. He sold it on Feb 29, 1956.

It's a little more clear in the photo on Boston City Archives' twitter, but that steel post is the orange line elevated. 3 Atherton is visible in the photo, most everything else has been torn down.

There were local streetcar tracks under the elevated, both in JP and Charlestown, the switch in the tracks suggests either Washington St. at the backend of Arborway yard or Egleston.

I'm guessing that you searched the business name as well. There's little from this era anywhere near that address when you go to the map's streetview and the archive photos always have enough of the original buildings remaining to identify it so I knew that wasn't it.
