Update: Suspect arrested.
Boston Police report a man was shot outside 128 Brighton Ave., near Harvard Avenue, around 2:35 a.m.
The man was taken to the hospital with possibly life-threatening injuries, police say.
Investigators believe that some sort of confrontation preceded the shooting.
Police add they are seeking video from anybody who might have recorded the scene. Contact detectives at 617-343-4470 or the anonymous tip line by calling 800-494-TIPS or by texting TIP to CRIME (27463).

It makes sense to omit not life threatening shootings from now on. If it's not in the Jamaica Plain Facebook, it didn't happen. (I mean tonight's Dorchester shooting.)
