West Roxbury market that specializes in Irish foods wants to add beer, wine

Marino's goes before the Boston Licensing Board next week for permission to add beer and wine to its offerings at its store at Centre and Park streets in West Roxbury.

The other Marino's, on VFW Parkway, already has a full liquor license.

If approved, Marino's would join Macy's, Blanchards and Roche Bros. in offering alcohol along the Centre Street corridor.

The board's hearings begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
