Oh shit. Do I have eggs and bread and milk?
Whoa!
What is this?
A chance of a tornado? Wow!
Happens more often than you think
Massachusetts gets a decent amount of them. There was a tornado in Revere a few years ago that produced a very Boston moment
Hmmm ...
You are probably safe in whatever bunker you are in. You somehow missed the multiple tornado watches during the past several summers. In the "work from home" era we have had to "work from basement" at least once each summer.
I was in a statewide online meeting last summer where people peeled off to go to ground as a storm system ripped across the state - first the Berkshires, then the Pioneer Valley, Worcester County, etc. We rearranged the agenda to get reports from west to east.
There was a tornado that ripped through Revere not too many years ago, another in Concord, violent microbursts in Arlington and elsewhere near the city. This doesn't just happen in Great Barrington and Springfield.

Tornado Warning in Lowell, Maynard, West Concord
In effect through 9:15 am.
And earlier this a.m. in Berkshire County
There was a tornado warning issued around 6 am in Berkshire County, so longer in effect.
There was a confirmed EF0 tornado out near Worcester yesterday
Nobody was hurt and there was no damage aside from some downed trees, thank goodness. See https://www.spc.noaa.gov/exper/reports/?&all&date=20230716
