Transit Police report they are looking for Andre Parham-Rankin, 27, whom they say fired a single bullet at somebody at the Nubian Square bus depot, but missed, around 5:40 a.m. on July 20.

He's presumed armed and dangerous, so call 911 if you spot him, police say.

Parham-Rankin was among a dozen alleged Orchard Park Trailblazers gang members rounded up in an effort to clean up the Orchard Park housing development in 2017.

He pleaded guilty in 2017 to charges of distribution of crack in a school zone and being a user of an illegal drug while in the possession of a controlled substance - for the two guns Boston Police found in his Eustace Street apartment. He was sentenced to three years in federal prison, followed by six years of "supervised release."

He earned release, but on Feb. 14, 2022, he was sentenced to another 18 months in federal prison for violating parole - for failing to seek residence at a "re-entry" halfway house for at least six months, as required by his sentence, court records show. He was then released again on Jan. 13 of this year, with no further requirement for supervised release, according to court and Bureau of Prisons records.

Innocent, etc.

All that trouble to show up early to ambush, and did not make the shot, except to be caught on camera. Did not spend enough time at the pistol range the week before. Possibly lucky nobody else was struck, my guess is consideration of the downrange condition is not in his wheelhouse.

But dodging gunfire while waiting for your bus is not a good way to start the day.

I find people friendlier in Nubian than the Seaport.
