No disparagement to Wakefield, but most places are flying at half-staff in honor of Feinstein on President Biden's declaration for federal flags, etc.

Never hugged one of Trump's supreme court nominees after a hearing.

I'd say this is for Wake.

she really was senile toward the end.....

...and learn some basic decency. Shame on you.

She hugged a fellow senator, Lindsey Graham, not the future justice. Get your snarky complaints right.

And the Sox could honor Wakefield much better by fielding a team that can actually compete for anything other than LAST PLACE!

Genuinely curious, I can't say I've ever seen it but I suppose I'm not often looking at what flags they're flying or how.

The orders only apply to government entities, but a lot of private businesses will follow it anyway. Can't say that I know what Fenway has normally done for an out of state (or New England) Senator, but it seems more likely to be for Wake than her.

Is reporting the flag at Fenway was lowered for Wakefield.

I'm glad they're recognizing him.

I can't remember which flag in my area I was looking at over the weekend, but it was at half-staff and it occurred to me that it was probably for Feinstein (then I found Biden had requested it).

To those saying Biden's request doesn't apply to Fenway: of course it doesn't *require* it. It didn't apply to the private company I saw doing it on Saturday either...but that doesn't stop companies and people from respecting a national figure on their own in co-incidence with the federal government.
