Exactly what a Green Line rider might fear: Trapped on a dead trolley just before Lechmere
Oh, come on! The day after the T general manager acknowledged massive track problems on the Green Line Extension, a trolley died between Science Park and Lechmere - and then the T kept the riders onboard for 90 minutes.
WCVB reports one of the brand-new Green Line trolleys suffered an embarrassing pantagraph problem.
Riders reported they were kept up in the air, both literally and figuratively for more than an hour before T workers finally began escorting them down the tracks (as videoed by a Globe reporter who happened to be on the trolley working on a followup to yesterday's news).
At 5:07 p.m., Dump Feet pleaded:
After an hour and a half stuck on the stopped train you think there might be at least ONE shuttle ready?
The T reports it is now running shuttle buses along both branches of the brand-new Green Line Extension.
News copters are, of course, circling the area like sharks after fresh chum.

Rent control
A friend of mine lived very near there and shared a 4br with three other people for about that price ... but it was a rent controlled unit.
