The siblings of RFK Jr. are stepping up to publicly support Joe Biden, to counteract any potential impact that RFK Jr.'s alleged candidacy may have on undercommitted voters.

The Wahlbergs have donated generously to Boston charities.

Aside from that - they, along with Damon/Affleck, helped make Boston cool again after the blight of busing violence.
(If you consider NKOTB, The Departed, Good Will Hunting, Ted etc as a popular culture trend).

There. Fixed it for you.

had nothing to do with tech, biotech, finance, the universities, NIMBYs blocking housing construction, quality of life, cultural capital, public transportation, relatively low crime, and a high median income?

And yes, they did along with Damon and Affleck, who were also included. You misconstrued his comment.

Were you referring to the blight of racist violence in which at least one of them was an active participant?

He graciously donated megabucks to the bank account of a publicist to clear him of this in the court of public opinion.

You do realize Marky Mark was an active participant in the busing violence?

When he was 8?

up

No, but when he was 15 he threw stones at 8 year old black girls being bussed in while yelling racist epithets at them. Same thing the next day when he tried to run black kids off a beach and get more white folks to help him.

None of your business.

Now don’t get your knickers in a Funky Bunch.

Hate to see those workers lose jobs.

too many panhandlers drifting up from Mass & Cass make the restaurant area a gantlet.

I've never had that experience. I'd guess Marky Mark's Funky Bunch Burger Joint didn't do too well since Dot already has significantly better burger joints, and those other burger joints aren't owned by an asshole who profited off the death of Martin Richard and the rest of the marathon bombing victims.

... since Dot already has significantly better burger joints

But - how many of them have "Government Cheese"?

And ask them if they have it? For some reason, I'm not sure they would be amused.

“He did hurt me, but my left eye was already gone,” Johnny Trinh told the Daily Mail in an interview published Thursday. “He was not responsible for that.”

Seems the errant blinding allegation arose because Trinh, 59, had lost his left eye previously during the war in Vietnam. Trinh -- born Hoa Trinh and now a resident of Arlington, Texas -- left Vietnam in 1980 after the communist takeover, the Mail said.

He said he lost the eye in a 1975 grenade explosion while he was with the South Vietnamese army. . .

“He was young and reckless but I forgive him now,” said Trinh, who did not know his assailant wound up a famous movie star. “Everyone deserves another chance.”

“I would like to see him get a pardon. He should not have the crime hanging over him any longer.”

Thanks for the polite correction, I am going to share because I feel like this is a safe space, I did not realize there were two of them.

ehhhhh, okay. Tasted like a $6 burger with $4 tacked on for marketing costs. Not my favorite.

Have not been back since. Never even noticed they had one at South Bay, and I'm there a lot.
