Fierce clouds over Boston

Those clouds opened up with streaming deluges down Washington Street. If you timed it right you could cross from McDonald's to State Station without your paper bags from Macy's and Marshall's disintegrating. Time it wrong and your stuff would be in the middle of the street. I timed it right. The rain slowed down between storm gusts. The out of towners were huddled in State and the Old State House.

My home office is in a former porch with a bunch of windows. The deluge running down the windows was like going through a car wash.
