Teen was hanging out in Dorchester backyard with a loaded gun, police say
Boston Police report arresting a 17-year-old they say was hanging out on Stockton Street in Dorchester with a loaded gun and a couple of pals yesterday evening.
Police say officers responded to 41 Stockton St. on a report of a guy with a gun in the backyard around 6:25 p.m. The 911 caller said he was there with two other guys.
Upon arrival, officers observed the group of males sitting on the front steps of 45 Stockton Street. Officers observed one of the males to have his arm pinned to his side, and bladed his body away. Officers advised the group that they could not be on someone else’s property.
At this time, officers conducted a pat frisk of all three males, and recovered a firearm from one of the juveniles. The firearm was later determined to be a FN 509 with one round in the chamber and eight rounds in a magazine capable of holding fifteen rounds.
The teen, too young to have his name released, was charged as delinquent for illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a large-capacity feeding device, illegal possession of ammunition and trespassing, police say.

These illegal guns are coming from collectors. They have to have been stolen from collectors. If not a collector, maybe an illegal arms dealer? I hope the Police follow through. No mention of serial numbers being obscured so maybe the Police can find the original buyer? Where are these guns coming from?
