Boston Police report arresting a 15-year-old they say was part of a group that set upon a woman on Southern Avenue at Millet Street and stole her moped and purse shortly after 4 p.m. on Sunday.
According to police:
One of the suspects was grabbing at his waistband, which made the victim believe that he was armed. The suspect stole her moped and drove a short distance before crashing. A second suspect stole the victim’s bag.
Officers canvassed the area and observed the group fleeing down Southern Avenue. One of the suspects was clutching his waistband as he ran to the rear of 60 Southern Avenue. Officers exited their cruiser and ran after the suspect. Officers observed the juvenile male throw an unknown item over the fence. Officers were able to place the suspect into handcuffs, and recovered a discarded large kitchen knife.
The teen, too young to have his name released, was charged as delinquent for armed robbery, police say.

Put your money where your mouth is... and take your computer to Boston common to see if you get mugged or stabbed or raped or something. You know all the things you attempt to say happen there.
Why don't you try to become one of them and show all of us that we are wrong and you were right?

No problems as yet. I've even walked through the Common recently.
Oh and "The Boston Commons" is a very major flag for "NOT living in Boston". Even most visitors get this straight within a day as well.
What are you talking about?

And how our resident troll loves to yammer about the place and things he imagines might be there, but has used phrases like "in the commons" that identify him as someone who has rarely if ever been to the area.
But he's seen a lot of Cheers episodes.
