Helmet?
Was the restaurant wearing a helmet?
Zen is never hi-viz
That building wasn't even trying.
Cops are looking very carefully for the building's headphones within a 1/4 mile radius.
Horrifying. Get the SUVs off our streets and lower speeds!
I cross at this intersection twice a day, and it’s a block from my kid’s elementary school. I was 20’ back on the sidewalk when this happened, on my way to school pickup. This intersection is awful. Cars totally speed, trucks are always turning, and they all try to beat the light.
all the time
I was there 10 minutes prior. yikes!
your school could help but
your school could help but not allowing parents to park illegally when they pick up,
I mean
Time will tell, but I've had too many close calls from parents speeding to pick up/drop off a kid.
Thanks for that helpful comment!
FWIW, the vast majority of kids who do get picked up get picked up by foot or by T.
no they don't
no they don't
I'd be willing to bet...
...the SUV was speeding up the get through a recently turned red light before opposing traffic started through their recently turned green.
This is the new normal for Boston drivers: yellow means nothing and red is just a suggestion.
That is not new
You're probably right, but "yellow means nothing and red is just a suggestion" has been SOP in Boston for literally as long as I can remember.
No Reason
There is no reason to turn left onto Tremont from Stuart St in that direction (the W on your right), it's one way south across Stuart. WTF happened here?
crash
Word was there was some collision in the intersection which caused this car onto the sidewalk. But the building crash overshadowed that, so no news stations had photos of the accident itself.
This is why…
…. the restaurant should be a drive through.
It’s just impossible to park on that corner.
Drivers get no consideration!
Another anonymous driver?
We're getting a lot of those lately. Maybe if the names were actually outed that might serve as a deterrent. Might.
If this involved another type of misused deadly weapon ...
... we would know who did this and who murdered John Cocoran, too.
