JP armed-robbery spree continues; City Feed latest victim

Boston.com reports City Feed and Supply on Boylston Street was held up this afternoon by a white guy in glasses with a gun.
This is the fourth such armed robbery in Jamaica Plain this month by a white guy in glasses with a gun.

Of COURSE it's the same guy. Probably one of the "confidential informants" who used to hang at the Triple D's. Can this person possibly not be "known to police?" Does E-13 not have a community officer with any presence on Centre/South Sts? I noticed BPD cruisers on SW Corridor near Forest Hills yesterday afternoon so they seem to be attempting a presence but where are the MBTA police to handle that end of things? A doper with sunglasses and a gun doesn't mix nice with the after school crowd. My daughter narrowly missed witnessing the JP Variety petty holdup and, between that and people getting shot up in front of James Gate, I'm beginning to question JP's community policing strategy.

Home robberies? Their solution is to tell people "aww, that's too bad", discourage them from filing a report so the crime stats aren't impacted, and then send a cruiser down the street a couple of times a day when neighbors complain about the fourth or fifth house getting robbed.
These clowns are so incompetent, a few years ago when someone was getting mugged on Boylston Street, they didn't catch them...and then got a call that someone on the other end of Boylston had just been mugged, 3-4 blocks away...and STILL couldn't catch 'em.
