Boston Police report that officers responding to a report of gunfire on Ashmont Street near Washington around 3:40 p.m. yesterday arrested a local man and two local teens on gun charges not long after.
Police report an off-duty officer spotted one of the suspects running into a yard on Mellen Street - where the on-duty cops found three suspects and a loaded gun.
Steven Bellamy, 20, and two teens - one 15, the other 17 - were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and unlawful possession of a loaded firearm.
Innocent, etc.

Hundreds of teens walk from Washington street to Ashmont station at this time BPD and Transit do a great job making sure the teens get home safely on a daily basis. I hope there is no trouble today when the teens get out for April vacation.
