Guy robs Roslindale bank, doesn't get far, police say

Boston Police report arresting a man shortly after they say he robbed the TD Bank branch at 930 American Legion Highway in Roslindale this morning.

Police say Donald Martin, 60, robbed the branch around 10 a.m.

On arrival, officers immediately located the suspect as he was walking to a nearby parked motor vehicle. The suspect was placed in custody after a brief struggle which resulted in minor injuries to three officers on scene.

NBC Boston reports the three officers were treated after being hit with some of the pepper spray they used to subdue Martin.

Martin faces charges of unarmed robbery and larceny over $250, police say.
