The FBI announced today it's offering $10,000 to anybody who can tell it how to capture a limping man responsible for seven armed holdups and two failed holdup attempts at Boston-area gas stations -- four of them on Neponset Valley Parkway in Readville.

The guy robbed the Mobil station at 264 Neponset Valley Parkway three times between Aug. 30, 2018 and March 29 of this year. He also brandished a gun during an attempted robbery of Rogers Service, 197 Neponset Valley Parkway, on Oct. 8, 2018, but fled without any money. He also held up the W&G Express Gas Station, 753 American Legion Highway in Roslindale on Jan. 18, as well as gas stations in Randolph, Stoughton and Canton, the FBI says.

The suspect, who should be considered armed and dangerous, is described as a male, likely in his 20s to 30s. In each holdup, the suspect wore dark clothing and a face covering. The suspect appeared to be armed and, in some of the robberies, he walked with a distinctive limp.

The FBI described the local robberies:

On August 30, 2018, at approximately 8:14 p.m., the suspect, wearing a black mask, sunglasses, and dressed in dark clothing, entered the Mobil Gas Station, 264 Neponset Valley Parkway, Hyde Park, Massachusetts. Upon entering the store, the suspect brandished a black and silver colored handgun. He approached the cashier and demanded money from the cash register.

On September 25, 2018, at approximately 8:43 p.m., the suspect, wearing a gray mask, sunglasses, and dressed in dark clothing, again entered the Mobil Gas Station, 264 Neponset Valley Parkway, Hyde Park, Massachusetts. Upon entering the store, the suspect brandished a black handgun. He approached the cashier and demanded money, while claiming he had “child support to pay.”

On October 8, 2018, at approximately 7:32 p.m., the suspect, wearing a black mask and dressed in dark clothing, entered Rogers Service Gas Station, 197 Neponset Valley Parkway, Hyde Park, Massachusetts, while brandishing a black and silver handgun. He demanded money from the cashier, but fled the scene without any cash. A white logo was seen on the left side of the suspect’s jacket.

On January 18, 2019, at approximately 8:20 p.m., the suspect, wearing a black bandana on his face and dark clothing, entered W&G Express Gas Station, 753 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, Massachusetts. The suspect brandished a black handgun and verbally demanded money from the cashier, stating he needed diapers.

On March 29, 2019, at approximately 6:46 a.m., the suspect, wearing a black mask and dressed in a black parka with fur around the collar and dark clothing, entered Mobil Gas Station, 264 Neponset Valley Parkway, Hyde Park, Massachusetts. Upon entering the store, the suspect brandished a black handgun and verbally demanded money from the cashier, but fled the store without any cash. It was noted that the suspect walked with a distinctive limp.
