Hyde Park man charged with two sexual attacks inside a West Roxbury thrift store

Boston Police report arresting a Hyde Park man for indecent assault and battery on two women inside Savers, 1230 VFW Parkway, around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Police say Elon Duarte, 49, was arrested shortly before 1 p.m. today on two counts of indecent assault and battery and lewd and lascivious behavior. Police did not further specify what Duarte did, but indecent assault and battery typically includes such attacks as groping or rubbing against another person, while lewd and lascivious behavior involves somebody displaying their genitals in public.

Police say that after the incident, Duarted fled the store on foot in the direction of Baker Street.
