Boston Police report gang-unit officers arrested a man they say was standing at Logan and McDonough ways in the Mary Ellen McCormack development chatting with some other guys - while packing a gun loaded with 19 rounds in one of his pant legs Saturday evening.
Police say officers were patrolling the area in response to an earlier call about a man with a gun when they spotted a group of guys hanging out by an empty but running car around 7:30 p.m.

Officer also recovered two additional firearms that were determined to be BB guns. One was located inside of the motor vehicle and the other was located from a fanny pack that was discarded at the scene by an unknown suspect.
Cardoso was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and unlawful possession of a large-capacity feeding device, police say.
