Two shot, one in the face, outside Allston club that's slated to be torn down to make way for apartments

Live Boston reports two men were shot overnight in the parking lot of Garage, 20 Linden St. in Allston.

Boston EMS transported the victim who was shot in the face to a local trauma center. The second victim got himself to the hospital.

In 2016, a man was shot in the head in the parking lot of the club, which started as a place for Russian immigrants to share meals and liquor from the home country but which gradually morphed into a nightclub.

In June, the Zoning Board of Appeal approved plans to tear down the old industrial building Garage is in, along with some nearby houses, to be replaced by a complex with 349 "compact" apartments.
