Boston Police report gang-unit officers arrested four teens Thursday at Oak Lawn Cemetery on Cummins Highway in Roslindale, each packing a gun loaded with at least eight bullets.
Police say the gang unit was staking out the cemetery around 3 p.m. as part of an investigation, three weeks after a 2017 Jamaica Plain murder victim's gravestone was stolen, possibly in a feud involving gangs from the Mildred Hailey and Annunciation developments. Three men were arrested for the theft.
Arrested Wednesday: Demetrey Pate, 18, of Roxbury, Davon Suarez, 18, of Jamaica Plain, D’Khari Wornum-Brown, 18, of Dorchester, and a teen from Brighton too young to have his name released. All were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a large-capacity feeding device and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number, police say.
Police described their guns:
Firearm #1 was a Glock 48 9mm handgun loaded with thirteen rounds of ammunition in the magazine. Firearm #2 was a Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm handgun loaded with fifteen rounds of ammunition in the magazine and one round in the chamber. Firearm #3 was loaded with fourteen rounds of ammunition in the magazine. Firearm #4 was a Glock 17 9mm handgun with eight rounds of ammunition in the magazine.
Innocent, etc.

Glad to have these guns off the streets. Now what to do with offenders who are likely going to reoffend…
