Woman shot in the head in Hyde Park

A woman in a car was shot on River Street at Avila Road in Hyde Park around 10:10 p.m.

Police found her in the car around the corner outside 30 Business St.

The homicide unit was called in due to the severity of her injuries.

Another car was hit by a bullet at River and Avila, where police found spent shells.
