Guns, crack seized at Roxbury house outside which a man was shot two weeks earlier, police say

Boston Police report arresting a Dedham man on gun charges after a Monday raid at a house on Clifford Street in Roxbury - outside of which a man was shot several times on Dec. 4.

Police say gang unit officers with an arrest warrant as part of an "ongoing investigation" arrested Shawn Walker, 22, of Dedham, at 50 Clifford St> shortly before 3 p.m. on Monday:

Officers located the suspect inside the apartment, and placed him under arrest. The apartment was frozen pending a search warrant.

As a result of the search warrant officers recovered Smith & Wesson M&P with one round in the chamber and nine rounds in the magazine. A second firearm was recovered and later determined to be a Glock firearm with one round in the chamber and seven rounds in the magazine. Officers also recovered 3 loose rounds of ammunition, and 4 plastic baggies containing what they believed to be crack cocaine.

Walker was arrested on warrants previously issued out of Roxbury court for assault by means of a dangerous weapon - a gun - and Dedham court for illegal possession of a gun, police say.

A Malden man was also arrested this week for allegedly shooting somebody repeatedly outside 48 Clifford St. on Dec. 4.

Innocent, etc.
