Man shot at Ellington and Erie streets in Dorchester

A man was shot at Ellington and Erie streets in Dorchester around 9 p.m.

Arriving police officers found shell casings but no victim. But not long after, a man arrived at a local emergency room with a fresh gunshot wound - and injuries that were not considered life threatening.
